Greenpeace UK used the G7 summit in Cornwall to call on world leaders to take urgent action for nature and climate.

Imagine 300 illuminated drones moving through the air to represent animals which are over 122 meters long and 76 metres high, a first for this type of performance. This is the magical spectacle captured in the successful UK Greenpeace campaign video. We see a giant turtle swimming at the foot of Mullion Cove cliff in Cornwall, then a jaguar running through the forest, a whale, a deer, a bee, an elephant, a butterfly, a polar bear. Each in their natural habitat. But the drones end their race towards the sky, and one by one, the animals transform into "spirits" to illustrate the danger of their disappearance.

Accompanying these stunning images, the voices of several children deliver powerful messages of hope: "I hope it's not too late. I hope adults will wake up. I hope they will protect the forests and oceans full of my favourite animals" until all the drones come together to form the words "ACT NOW" as one child declares "Hope comes from action, not words".

At the G7, leaders committed to reducing net greenhouse gas emissions to zero, by 2050 at the latest, as well as halting and reversing the loss of biodiversity by 2030. How will this translate into concrete actions ?
